What is EMPWR?
As a believer in healing through creating art and storytelling, our founder wanted a website that empowered people to share their story and their art. Believing that there is a seat at the table for everyone, another function of EMPWR is to platform voices and opinions from everyone with something to say.
We are an empowered community of womxn. We are feminists with a thirst for knowledge who like to engage in each other's life experiences.
EMPWR is a curation empowering content. You'll find everything from poetry, art and photography to empowering stories, news and interviews.
We're not your typical feminist website, our content is driven by our readers and their submissions. We empower people to come up with their own content ideas and we give them the means to execute them.
Who is EMPWR's audience?
Our audience is made up of women, non-binary and gender non-conforming people. They're feminists who are interested in social justice, the arts and creating content. They're trans-inclusive, sex-positive, mental health advocates who actively engage in breaking down the stigma surrounding things such as periods, sex-work and eating disorders.
