When it comes to beauty, Ireland is brimming with stunning independent brands with humble roots.


From skincare and tan to perfume and make-up, we've rounded up 8 Irish beauty brands founded by empowering women for you to fall in love with.


Nima Brush

Founded by pro make-up artist Niamh Martin in 2012, Nima Brush are an award winning make-up brush brand.


With each brush is named after a strong influential figure in Niamh's life, the brand has won many beauty awards and have even been featured in a Nikki Tutorials YouTube video.


Bee Loved Skincare

This natural skincare brand was created by Mercedes a trained herbalist and acupuncturist from Havana, Cuba.


Growing up she was unable to access big beauty brands so began to experiment to create products to keep her skin healthy.

Free from fragrance and chemicals, this all natural brand is perfect for sensitive skin.



Kinvara

Frustrated with products that did not work for her that often came with a hefty price tag, Dr. Joanne O'Reilly founded her beauty brand Kinvara.


The brand specialises in using natural apothecary to create products such as exfoliants, cleansers and moisturisers.


Lusso Tan

Founded by three sisters, Lynsey Bennett, Leah White and Sarah White, Lusso Tan have recently celebrated three years in business.


The brand creates vegan, organic, cruelty and parben-free products.

Last year, Lusso Tan hit headlines across the beauty industry as they developed an innovative world-first, the"Self-Tan Removing Bath Bomb", a quick solution that removes self-tan in minutes.


Berry Be Beauty

Based in North Dublin, Berry Be Beauty was created by Lorna Venon, a holistic therapist and reflexologist.


Aside from skincare, the brand also sells salt lamps, soy wax candles and diffusers.


All products are natural, vegan and chemical free also.


Oxmantown Skincare

Handmade by founder Amy Cahill in Stoneybatter, Dublin Oxmantown Skincare is inspired by nature and completely cruelty free.


As a bonus, the brand uses recycled packaging and sustainable, ethically sourced ingredients.


Jo Browne

In 2013, Joanne Browne decided to follow her dream, and so her beauty brand Jo Browne was born.


Initially creating solid fragrances, the brand have recently released a line of skincare products.


All products come in stunning bamboo packaging which doesn't only look great, but it also natural, ecological and sustainable.


Whipped

Founded in 2019 by Denga Tshilidzi Phiriga, Nqobile Ngcobo and Masindi Phiriga, Whipped is a holistic brand that sells stunning hand made body butter.


Created using natural ingredients Whipped is void of any harsh chemicals that irritate or harm the skin.


At less than a year old, we already can't wait to see what else comes from the folks at Whipped.
