Disclosure, a brand new documentary exploring trans representation in TV and Film has landed on Netflix.
Directed by Sam Feder, the documentary is an eye-opening look at the last 100 years of Transgender depictions across TV and Film.
Starring Laverne Cox, Angelica Ross and Mj Rodriguez, Trans actors reflect on how the media has shaped them.
Lilly Wachowski, Yance Ford, Jamie Clayton, and Chaz Bono also join the line-up as they trace the history of trans representation.
The feature length film also looks at how age-old stereotypes and tropes of trans people in the media both form and reflect popular beliefs about the transgender community.
Sam Feder previously directed 2014 biographical documentary Kate Bornstein is a Queer and Pleasant Danger.
He also directed 2006 documentary Boy, I Am which looked to break stigma surrounding trans issues in the lesbian community as three young people prepare to transition.
