Dublin band Pillow Queens have announced the release of their debut album.
The 4-piece announced their brand new single Handsome Wife earlier this week, leading fans to believe an album announcement was just around the corner.
Taking to Instagram they revealed the details for the upcoming LP.
"Our debut album In Waiting is now up for pre-order," they revealed, directing fans to their website to order the album in advance.
"Waiting for futures to be carved out, for missions to be complete, for communities to be solidified, for the security denied to a generation to return," is how they describe the upcoming 10 track album.
"Waiting for the empathic revolution. Waiting for the end of capitalism, and the start of something real and fair. Waiting for spin to die and authenticity to be valued. Waiting for lost loves to return and fumbled relationships to form, for small cracks in families to heal and bigger cracks in inequitable systems to break."
Tracks include their previous singles Brothers and Gay Girls along with new songs Child Of Prague, Donaghmeade, HowDoILook, Liffey, A Dog's Life, Harvey and Holy Show.
Their new single Handsome Wife premiered today with a music video that was created during COVID-19 lockdown.
The group which formed in 2016 have previously released 2 EPs, Calm Girl and State of The State.
Sarah Corcoran, Rachel Lyons, Cathy McGuinness and Pamela Connolly began the year on a high ringing in 2020 at a sold-out show in Workmans on December 31st.
Their single Gay Girls recently featured in Dating Amber, the brand new LGBTQ+ film by Irish director David Freyne.
In Waiting is set to be released on September 25th.
